How to Update your Password Reset Alternate email and mobile number


So that you can properly prepare you AD account if you need to reset your password or unlock your account on your own, you need to the following steps.


  1. Open a browser and go to https://aka.ms/ssprsetup


  2. Login with your <Username>@local.competenz.org.nz and your domain password.


  3. After logging in you can setup your mobile number. Click on “Set it up Now”




  1. On the next screen, select the country and type in the mobile number. You can then click “Text Me” or “Call Me” to receive the security code.




  1. You should receive the security code, you just need to key it in on the next screen to confirm.


  2. Next, you can setup your alternative email. Click on the corresponding “Set it up now”




  1. Type your personal email address and click “Email Me”


 


  1. You should receive the security code on your personal alternative email address and you just need to key it in on the next screen to confirm.


  2. Once all the settings are done, you can click on “Finish”
