Open web links from Microsoft Teams/Outlook in Google Chrome instead of Microsoft Edge : Competenz Helpdesk

If you want to stop web links from Microsoft Teams or Outlook opening in Microsoft Edge, here's a guide on changing these settings.

Microsoft Teams

If you're using Microsoft Teams classic, from the upper-right corner, click > Settings

Under Settings > Files and links > Links open preference select the Default browser

If you're using the new version of Microsoft Teams:

Under Settings > Files and links > Links open preference select the Default browser

Microsoft Outlook

You can change this by going to File > Options > Advanced > File and browser preferences

Under Advanced, change Open hyperlinks from Outlook in, set the value to Default Browser. Click OK.
