If the following screen appears when starting TMS:
Take the following steps to update your TMS client:
1. Shut down the Pivotal TMS client along with Outlook and Excel, since these contain Pivotal add-ins.
2. Click the Windows icon on the bottom left of your laptop screen to access the start menu and click the Aptean folder to expand it.
3. Click the Aptean Software Manager within that folder. If you have more than one of these, it is usually the bottom one but you can try both as one will not run.
4. On the next screen, DO NOT choose the 64-bit version. Click Pivotal CRM and then click Install.
5. You will be presented with an installation progress screen. After this completes, Pivotal will launch and present the TMS login screen. Continue to login to TMS as per normal. It will show that it has been updated to Version 7.0.5 (as of this writing, current TMS version). Future logins will continue to only present the normal login process.
Note: Now that the Pivotal TMS client has been updated, you will also be able to open TMS without being connected to VPN if you prefer. When not on VPN, you will see the message below when logging in. Just click “Yes” and TMS will continue to start up.
