Before you proceed make sure you prepare a strong new password that meets the following password complexity requirements:
- Must be at least fourteencharacters
- Must be a mix of letters and numbers
- Must have at least have one capital letter AND one special character (eg. @ # $ . ,)
- Must not be one of your last five passwords (create a new one)
- Avoid full common words inside your password eg: “Password”, “Monkey” or “Dog”
- Avoid using your name birthdate in your password
- Good practice is to take a common word and misspell it, then replace letters with numbers and special characters eg: “ch@ngg3th@w0rLd”
After successfully changing your password, you MUST complete the synchronization steps so you can still login after you restart your laptop.
Note: You don’t have to be connected to the Competenz VPN to change your password using this process. If you have recently changed your password within the last 7 days and have forgotten your new password, please log a request to reset your password.
