Before you can start using Freddy, ensure this is installed on Microsoft Teams. Follow the steps in the Installation Guide - Freddy - IT Virtual Agent App



  • Freddy - IT Virtual Agent App will look like just a regular Teams chat. To start chatting with Freddy, search for the Freddy app, on the left hand side of your Microsoft Teams, find and Click ... type Freddy, select the Freddy icon as below :




  • To start conversation with Freddy, type any of the following phrases:


Hi Freddy

Hello Freddy

Freddy I need help


The following main menu will display, select the category requiring help with or click Ask a question.




  • Each category will display related knowledge base articles. If you click any link, it will redirect you to a SharePoint Library, enter your usual credentials in SharePoint.




  • If you type a word/phrase that is not in the displayed categories, it will redisplay the categories for you to select from.




  • If you click Ask a question, it will prompt for you to type keywords for your query



           



  • If there are no available articles for your issues, it will prompt for you to create a ticket. 




  • Rate your experience chatting with Freddy.
